Ok, so I lied

I’ve actually been knitting again for the past three days, though it’s been a little bit of nothing.

My Mom loves hand knit wash cloths and I decided I’d started an easy one to see how I felt about knitting again.

It’s a simple little pattern called Lacy Squares.

Lacy Squares

I’m trying to decide if I need to do another wash cloth or see if I can restart the little sweater. I’m not sure if the intended recipient of the sweater will fit it anymore, but one way or the other I’m going to finish it. Stay Tuned…

Yahoo you’re back. Soo pleased to see you up and blogging again. I love the dishcloth, but can’t believe I would actually use one for anything near the dishes. Best of luck, thinking of you.

So gload to be able to hear from you again! I seem to have lost my blogging momentum. Does the recipient of the sweater have a teddy bear that could wear the finished product?

Sorry my keyboard is acting strangely this morning. I meant that I was GLAD you are blogging again.

what yarn is the washcloth made of? I am looking for some cotton in a light weight.

The nice thing about baby sweaters is that there are always more babies coming along.

Yarn is Lily “Sugar ‘n Cream”. I’ve also use Lion Brand “Kitchen Cotton”. The Lily yarn seems softer straight off the skein, but both wash up nice and soft.

Ooo! Cute pattern! I like Sugar ‘n’ Cream better than Lion too. I’m not a big fan of Lion overall I guess. Have to get back to knitting…I’ve been a spinning fool lately!
