					<description>:idea: Oh, neat!  The "Perils of Pauline" and all that!  Although I've not seen a sawmill like that, I have been several times to the Old Threshers' Reunion in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa where they fire up the steam threshing machines (kind of an early tractor/combine). What a roar!   

Do be sure you are up to date on your tetanus vaccine.  I knew a man who died from tetanus after getting a splinter at a sawmill.  Not a "fun way to go", and so preventable.</description>
