Glad to hear that things are looking up for you! I hope to find that pupusa street cart (or an equivalent) next time I'm back in Oregon - good Hispanic food is hard to find in northern Virginia.

Aha! Still alive is a good thing.

I love Mexican foods, your lunch sounds like it was really yummy. We try to catch Rick Bayless on PBS any time we can. I love the way he explains the culture of an area and histories of the foods.

Jerry, So glad you are back. I enjoy reading about the food and your work at the resturant. Hope your knitting can pick up once you have more time. My husband and I are planning a trip to Portland this fall along with San Fransico so I will be on the lookout for the food cart!
