Sometimes I wish I had cable.

One of my favorite food writers has a blog that I read regularly. One of contributing writers is an outspoken Chef named Anthony Bourdain. Tony is not a fan of the Food Network and he’s recently posted a review of the recent Food Network Awards that were broadcast on their network.

If you love the Food Network and don’t have a sense of humor, you probably should skip it, but it’s pure Tony and funny as h*ll…

Off to work for another fun night of making pizza…

Tony B. is great, I love his attitude - thanks for sharing the link to the blog, I’m adding it to my bloglines.

I loved Tony’s critique too, and as someone who watched about 15 minutes of this FN disaster, agree with him wholeheartedly!

Tony is FABULOUS! His biting sense of humor and dry wit are what makes him so anti-establishment. He’s written several books you’d probably like as well.

I like reading Tony Bourdain. I like watching and listening to Tony Bourdain. But I STILL want to see HIM cook, or do a live TV cooking show. It’s easy to criticize, hard to perform. I do agree one hundred percent about the FN awards.

 Jerry I love your Quince and Orchid photos. They are breathtaking. I was so excited to see them. Plus your knitting is just wonderful. So expert looking…I am quite jealous. Enjoyed your blog and will check again.

Tony can cook… He was head chef at Les Halles in New York, NY. I don’t know if Tony cooks on air, but he knows his way around a kitchen…

    And thanks Donna.. Visit again..
