Gansey Update 2

A very productive day. A little knitting, a bit of grocery shopping, baked up a batch of Snickerdoodles and now I sit listening to Alan Jackson, sipping a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and munching on cookies. Sometimes life just goes your way…

Almost 6″ into the body of the little sweater. Underarm gussets complete to the halfway point, so I’m through circular knitting on the body. I’ll start the back tomorrow, knitting it flat to the shoulder and repeat the front. Join the front and back at the shoulders, pick up stitches around arm hole and knit the arms with a little circular or two longer circulars.

How sweet, the little hearts are starting to shape up. Very nice.

:???: Do you have a plan for these little sweaters, or are you perhaps knitting them for the joy of it?

The latest little sweater is meant for a co-worker who is expecting a little girl in May. The first one was just to get the juices running..
