Oh My…

Bugknits

I ran across this young lady’s page thanks to StumbleUpon. Click on picture to be transported to an incredible array of *very* tiny knitting on *very* tiny needles. She offers 00000000000 needles and patterns for sale. Yes that’s eleven zeros. 0.25mm.

I’ve knit a little sock on 0000 needles and thought I was in extreme danger of getting puncture wounds.

Personally… I’m impressed. Blinking

Way cool! I too knit a wee sock like that and it was one of the biggest exercises in frustration I’ve come across in a while. They are cute but after the first one, my dreams of knitting up hundreds and selling them as pins and earrings quickly faded!

So one would knit them with sewing thread while wearing a jeweler’s loop?

Did you include a link to the page with the tiny knitting that I’m not seeing, or should I follow the chain back?

    Wow

Stonering… The picture is the link or you can go here.

And at my age, even a jeweler’s loop probably isn’t strong enough.

    Oh wow!

I thought that the gal in my knitting group who knits Barbie items was off her rocker. Now i know there are more of them. LOL!

Jerry, StumbleUpon kept me at my computer for a couple of hours last night, truly as addictive as anything computer-related. Did I need this? No! Do I love it? Yes!

Just an FYI. Those gloves are on displayed in NYC’s Museum of Art and Design. I saw them in person during the Yarn Harlot’s book launch day. That exhibit is a MUST see when in NYC!
