Back to original colors.

Almost caught up with what I had to rip back on the capelet. Went to Woodland Woolworks to pick some longer needles for the project and ended up spending an additonal $50 on yarn. You can never have enough yarn.

Happy Halloween, to those that celebrate it. Out here in the country we don’t get any trick or treaters so it’s a quiet night for us.

And finally, Ernest Hemingway wrote a short story in six words (”For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”), which he called his best work. Wired magazine asked a group of Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror writers to give it a try. Some are *very* good. Very Short Stories

I saw a friend’s stab at a six-word story. What an interesting idea. There is also a book (don’t know about a website) of 55-word short stories that I gave my dad for Christmas one year. It’s amazing what you can cram in to such a small space.

Nice to see you back Jerry. I was just about to drop a comment and ask how you’ve been. :) Thanks for the link. I may try writing some of those myself.

I wondered where you were… Turns out you’ve been updating all month, and I’ve only been getting the pink page and one and same update all this time. :-b

Yes, I’m back to *pretty consistant* posting lately.

If I feel that a site doesn’t update when I think it should, I force a reload with “Shift, Reload”. Press Shift key and hit the reload button. Most browsers will ignore cache and do a complete reload of the page.

    Oh my goodness, how embarrassing..I hadn’t seen a new post since Oct. 2. Stupid non-refreshing browser… D’oh!

Jerry, I’ve been on the Knit Picks Web site and I can’t find the pattern for the Kilkenny Capelet. Could you email me a link if you have one? Thanks,
    Candi

Candi.. It isn’t there yet, because I’m the{one of the} test knitters on it. Since it needs to be in their offices by November 24, I’d expect it will be in their January catalog.
