Little blues
Home from work tonight, sitting in an empty house, as Eileen and her boyfriend hooked up the trailer and headed for eastern Oregon this afternoon, leaving me with the farm and nursery until Monday.
Not happy, but not really depressed. Just a little blue.
Tomorrow is my day off and I don’t plan on sitting around here working. Animals will be fed and necessary watering will be done, but I’ve got a bicycle that hasn’t been ridden much and I’ve got some places in Portland that I’d like to explore and so I think I will. Maybe a silly idea, as the predicted temperatures will be in the low 90’s, but I have no intention of just sitting around here feeling sorry for myself.
Knitting… A few more rounds on the BBS. About 6 inches of the needed 12 inches completed on the first leg.
