Willy Warmer Pattern and Address
A quick afternoon post before I get ready for work. A late night tonight, as we have 10:30pm close on Friday. Tomorrow will be my 9th straight day of work and my 8th closing night. I’m going to *enjoy* my Sunday day off.
Willy Warmer Pattern:
Materials:
US#7 Double Points
Partial Skein of WoolEase
Piece #1
Cast on 20-25 stitches (depending on size needed
). Long-tail cast-on, in my case.
Knit around for approximately 30 rounds (again depending on length needed). I lost count and probably ended up with 32 or 33 rounds.
Thread yarn through stitches and pull tight.
Piece #2
Cast on about 30 stitches (see above)
Knit around for 20 rounds.
Thread yarn through stitches and pull tight.
Sew pieces together. I just used the remains of the long-tail cast-on and sewed together six stitches from each cast-on row.
Pick up and knit around along the edges of each piece. I ended up with about 56 stitches, but any even number will do. And because I used a long-tail cast on, I ended up with a nice ridge of stitches separating body from edging.
Knit three rows of seed stitch (Row 1 – K1,P1 Row 2 P1,K1).
Knit 1 eyelet row (YO, K2tog).
Knit two rows of seed stitch.
Cast-off – I like EZ’s sewn cast-off (see Knitting Without Tears). Nice clean, elastic cast-off.
Make a three stitch I-cord. How long? Long enough to encircle the WW and still able to tie a nice bow knot. Thread the I-cord through the eyelets.

Thanks for the great pattern but I wondering how would I go about knitting a football badge on the cock blanket?
hello, it is so unfair that the polularity ratio says 2%, what i think is that many people use this pattern without leaving a comment?! what do you think?
