Catching up
Not that there’s much catching up to do…
In a knitting funk. Haven’t touched needles in over a week. I’m blaming my work schedule, but who knows.
Holding down two jobs (Nursery and pizza cook) is starting to get to me. I’ve worked nearly every weekend since I started, I’ve been pushed to do more closing, which means later hours and closing out the till and making the night deposit. And I’ve been working more hours. Still no where near full time, but it just seems that all I do is work these days. Sigh… Poor me…
We don’t take a newspaper, but I’m hooked on a couple comics and have an RSS feed that I check each morning. Get Fuzzy and Pearls Before Swine. Neither are your standard comics, which is probably why I like them. This morning’s Pearls got me giggling as soon as I read it through.
If you haven’t read the comic before, you need some insight into the characters. Pig and Rat are friends. Rat is cynical and thoughtless. Pig is a sweet dumb little pig. Pig just doesn’t understand the world. ‘Bad Boy’ indeed…
