Progress

Not one of my better days.

Crappy attitude, slept in later than I wanted, no interest in working on the sweater.

Finished the first of Eileen’s sock, but not a lot else accomplished. Hopefully things will be better tomorrow.

Jerry, nice sock… did you start the mate? Better luck with the mood today.

Noah started sneezing at 4am, which woke me up and I never got back to sleep. This after going to bed at midnight, darn it. (I would have said something else but I remembered the school class that monitors you, lol) I’ve been working on some beaded bags and finished one at 5am. At least, I think I did - I’ll have to go back and check later for glaring errors.

That’s a lovely sock. What kind of toe do you favor?

I am a firm believer in the use of chocolate as a mood lifter. I think a piece of chocolate or candy and a sip of tea or coffee at the end of each row (SOA) might be just the thing you need. Maybe twice each row ;-)

I hope your February finds you in better spirits. If not, it’s a short month. Then you can have a whole new month all over again.

Beautiful sock! Makes me want to knit one cept I have a bad taste in my mouth since my last socks took ages… (perhaps I should break out some chocolate??)

That is one good looking sock! I love that sock yarn. I knit socks for my sister in Chicago, and her favorite pair were knit with that yarn. I hope today is more productive for you.

Mood is better tonight. Too much work and too many critters to stay in the dumps too long.

Second sock is cast on, but I don’t think I’ll be able to make much progress for a few days. Too many other things going on.

And it’s funny. I hear folks talking about the ’second sock syndrome’. I love knitting socks and especially the long lengths of straight stitch. I’ve never had a problem finishing the second sock and this one will be finished, sooner or later.
