When Knitting Was a Manly Art

Yesterday, I mentioned I have started my version of the Sock Scarf from the newest Knitter’s.

I dislike the heels down the length of the scarf and I want the foot to look like the real thing, so I’m making changes as I go.

6 skeins of WoolEase in 6 different colors. US#8 needles, 10 rounds per color and I’m happily, mindlessly knitting away. The magazine’s pattern had each leg over 400 rounds for each side, but I think that’s going to be too long for me, so I’ll just continue around and around until it looks the right length to add the foot. Pick up stitches on the other end and repeat.
