Tomorrow is election day for most of the United States. We in Oregon have mail-in ballots and Eileen and I have had our ballots in for over a week.
If you’re registered, please get out and vote. I don’t care if you vote Democrat or Republican (actually I do, but we won’t get into that this late), but vote. Let’s make this an election that leaves no doubt what America stands for.
And if you’re in Oregon *please* vote. There are a number of Oregon Measures that will have a large impact on peoples lives.
In Oregon, real time updates will be made on the Secretary of State site.

A quick and early update. It’s been steadily raining all day today. Not much accumulated, but it’s a dreary and dark day and no chance to get outside for a decent photo. So, I cleaned up the kitchen floor and laid out the shawl for an attempt at a complete shot. Once again, not one of the best photos I’ve taken, but still a good overview of the shawl and how it’s shaping up. About 17 stitches will be castoff on the left side and then the left wing will repeat the shaping of the right side.

A dreary and wet day. Probably a bit like Lewis and Clark’s winter in Oregon in 1805. Wet. Not a lot of accumulation – about .2″(5mm) so far – but it’s still dripping. We’re above the cloud bottoms, so we’ve been in heavy fog all day along with the rain. A classic Northwest autumn day.
