Maybe you could incorporate a weather statment in your knitting prose. I love weather and weather changes, but the temps and drizzle reports are 'boring' to a knitter like me who knits in all kinds of weather. My soon-to-be-over job is inside, programming. I love to visit you blog daily to see if you have any knitting progress or pictures of your flora or explorations. Don't forget to include cat pictures, too. Your shawl is looking great! That way the new pictures of things I want to see - knitting, plants, cats - show without me having to scroll down through the weather reports.
