Sorry to hear of Eileen's shingles. I've never had it but a friend has and said it was painful. This winter has been a bummer. I had a cold that seemed to last forever. I had them 2 years ago on the left side of my face and it was horrible. I hope she gets better soon. I took valtrex and major pain killers. Mine went all through my hair and near my eye. My landlady had them and suffered much. In Danish they are fittingly called 'Hellfire'. As for the oak, try selling some of the larger pieces to a lumber yard, there may be some value in it.
