Jerry, you really have had a 'pit' of a winter. Hope Eileen gets better and the meds work. Maybe you can knit a little this weekend.

Hey Jerry,

Keep a stiff upper lip. I don't know exactly what that means, but a good friend told me that when I was going through a bad spell...

I hope Eileen feels better pronto, and that the suck aspect of winter and life in general improves. It is at times like this that knitting can be almost theraputic.

I love seeing your work...you are a fantastic knitter, and watching your progress is part of my current routine.

Take care,

Kathy

Hi!!

Your wife has my great empathy! I had a bout with shingles right before Christmas.... nothing like two Doctors telling you that you need to find a less stressful job.

Valtrex worked well for me as well as the Vicodin for the pain.

Hugs to you both and I hope she is feeling better soon!

Hi Jerry, I enjoy reading about your life's adventures, especially loved your cat family photos. I hope things start looking up real soon.

I've been enjoying reading your blog and seeing your knitting and lovely farm and cats, so I just wanted to say thanks for sharing, and I'm sorry to hear about your wife's condition. You really don't seem to be able to catch a break! I hope everything (weather, tree detritus, shingles) clears up faster than expected. All the best, Aven

Jerry,
Yes, this really has been a tough winter. Tell Eileen I hope she feels better very soon, hug the cats, eat some ice cream and, as we used to say back when I was in high school, hang tough, kiddo. By the way, your blog is great and the cat pictures always make me smile.

Jerry, so sorry to hear about Eileen's health problems. I've had shingles and they are no fun. The good news is that the meds work fast. Hope things start looking up for you guys. Think of all that firewood!

Keep your chin up, Jerry! I hope Eileen responds well (and quickly!) to the medication. My thoughts are with you, I hope things get better soon.

Sympathy for you and Eileen and the problems you've had this winter. Hope things start to get better soon.

Hope your knitting is a comfort for you and that you have time to do some with everything else that's going on.
