No pictures today.
I finished the second saddle this morning and had time to try to pick up requisite stitches from saddle #1, cast on stitches for back of neck and then pick up requisite stitches from saddle #2.
Needed 44 stitches from each saddle and only picked up 40 first pass. Hmm?? I know there’s enough rows, so rip out and try again. This time it looks like I’ve got it, so cast on neck stitches and pick up second saddle. Darn.. Short again. Rip back and finally get enough. Get ready to do the setup row and discover that somehow I’ve got yarnovers instead of picked up stitches on the first saddle. Don’t ask me how I did it, cause I don’t know.
Frustrated, I ripped out the picked up stitches and the cast on neck and went out and fed animals. I’ll try again tomorrow morning.
