Gansey status and picture
Sleeve #2 is slowing getting longer. About 8 rows into third pattern section. With all my complaints and occasionally goof-ups, this has been a very satisfying project. I hope my next sweater will work out as nice.

It’s looking wonderful! Mine is technically done, but I’m contemplating ripping out part of the first sleeve because one of the pattern sections is too long, alas. It isn’t *much* too long, though, so I might get away with it as is.
I’d been thinking of it as a big ol’ pile of gray yarn for so long (frankly, it looked ugly lying around) that it was a real treat to try it on and see that the pattern and shape really worked, and that the color was not a mistake after all (even though white does look better, I must admit). Can’t wait to see it blocked.
Jerry – I looked around your site to see if you had a WIP section or anything so I hope I’m not asking the obvious -
your sweater is gorgeous and I’m wondering if you are using a pattern or if it’s your own design? I like the details – noticed the gussets, etc.
