Where has April gone? Seems it was just April Fools Day…
Busy day for RidgeTop Farm ahead. We’re packing for our plant sale today, as we need to be ready to setup on Friday afternoon. We’re hoping to be able to pack everything into our stock trailer and Eileen’s Chevy and not have to take my pickup down too. Today I just follow directions and try to stay out of the way…
No Gansey pictures today, but I thought I’d post the patterning chart I’m working from. The graph chart itself is from a Japanese knitting site I found that has an English page for creating various sized graph paper in PDF format. I’ve saved various graphs variations and have used them mostly for my lace knitting. Since I didn’t want to haul around the ‘Knitting Ganseys’ book everywhere, I created this little image (actually I use a slightly larger version) of the patterns. Patterns are work A through F up the body and then F, E, B, A down the sleeve. It ain’t purty, but it works…
