And I love the way the two pictures show up the different aspects. It really gives a good idea of the finished (almost there!) shawl. You should be so proud of yourself after all the work you put in. I've never really liked the look of crochet but I recently saw a couple of scarves that I thought were gorgeous and they were crocheted. I'm taking heart that it will get easier as I go along.
